I have a client that has Home Trust GIC's in his RBC Investing account, he phoned a couple of weeks ago to get rid of them and RBC told him he can't because there is no takers...same for Equitable Trust and VanCity....think Home Trust is the tip of the ice berg for sure...i'll let you know in September if he actually receives the money (the first GIC date) when it redeems..

So many think after the collapse in the United States 08-09 that " oh , it CANT happen here" will be choking on those words EVENTUALLY one day. It's IS getting WORSE globally EVERYDAY!! I am interested to see what happens as well with this GIC.
I'll keep you updated, i have been trying to warn everyone i know about what is coming but am honestly getting tired of being laughed at and told there is nothing worry about...so frustrating
