Yes everything dropped on steemit.com is valuable, including comments. I've seen someone who got $5 from commenting on a post, meanwhile his own post that day only made $1.2.
Yeah bro. It happens to me too often. Cheers to making good posts and comments on steemit!
BTW: do checkout the tag #Hug-Challenge. I created it out of the need to encourage people to be more participatory in this system and reward those doing it well. See yah!
