Hello they look w ymmm

Thank you ... I have a stomachache lol ... I am not as clever as my daughter I dig in before the actual baking takes place hehe ... they are so good especially when still warm from the oven ... the next days I toast them ... nomnom

Your daughter is so cute! So nice to have a kitchen assistant :) your Maria buns look so yummy! I'd love to make them but I can't get buttermilk in Spain, any suggestions on what I could use in its place?

oh yes I know ...lived in Sitges for 15 years buttermilk is next to impossible to find ... you can replace with double cream ( will make a more caky result and rise less) or with a mix of milk and double cream ... or a thin youghurt...and yes it is pretty awesome to have a little helper

That's great @globaldoodlegems, I can definitely buy both double cream and yoghurt here. I might try the mix of milk & double cream first. Thanks for your help :)

you are welcome ... let me know how they turn out ...

Thanks for sharing your recipe! Wish you could also share your assistant 😜. So cute!

Thank you ... yes my assistant is the sweetest hehe and really a very good assistant !
