Baboon encounter.
One morning I decided to do a photo shoot in Fernkloof Nature Reserve, Hermanus, South Africa when I came across this character. I backed off pretty quickly to my car from where I took these shots. He seemed quite relaxed but I was a little shaken as he was less than 10 meters away. It was however great to photograph him/her.

These guys can be so naughty! I'm working on a wine farm in Constantia at the moment and the Tokai troops have been coming onto the farm almost every day! I had to ride the horses through a troop of about 50 of them on Wednesday! Great photos!
Hi lauraflint I believe they cause lots of problems for the residents of Kommetjie. They raid the fridges among other things. 50 would definitely scare me. Horse or no horse.
