푸른 잎사귀들 사이로 돋아난 밤송이가 시선을 사로잡습니다. 아직은 여물지 않은 연둣빛 가시가 꼭 밤나무의 숨겨둔 비밀을 지키는 듯합니다. 촘촘히 박힌 가시들은 마치 뾰족한 고슴도치 등처럼 느껴져 조심스레 다가가게 합니다.
이 밤송이들이 따가운 여름 햇살을 받으며 단단하게 여물어갈 모습을 상상하니, 벌써부터 가을의 풍요로움이 느껴지는 듯합니다.
