Introduction

Volare Finance (Twitter: https://twitter.com/FinanceVolare/) is a DeFi option protocol for European options, option combos and exotic options. It allows investors to invest in standard or customized option strategies portfolios, and provides clients tools for hedging, speculation and yield enhancement based on its infrastructure.

They raised over $6 Million in private round backed by DCG, Blizzard Fund, & etc.

Rules

There are currently 2 events we can participate in Volare.

2.Testnet trading competition signup (https://forms.gle/LkBDJf371hrpHDfL9)

[This is only for signing up. The competition will start in mid-September. Users should fill in the form and apply to become a tester first. (3,000–5,000 eligible testers will be chosen. First come, first serve).]

If you are interested in going through the testnet before the competition begins, follow the guide below.

Getting Started:

Volare is on AVAX Fuji testnet. You can add the network using Chainlist.

If you need some testnet AVAX tokens, get them at the [official faucet] (https://faucet.avax.network/).

You’ll need some USDC/WETH if you want to trade on the testnet. Swap your testnet AVAX for USDC/WETH at https://app.partyswap.io/#/swap. Use the contract address below to search for the tokens you need.

Step 1.

Head to https://fuji.volare.lol/vanilla. Connect your wallet and click “TRADE” on one of the options.

Step 2.

The order book has a detailed list of bid/ask prices and sizes on the options we are trading. The bid price is currently at $30.12 and the ask price is at $41.73.

We set up a order with a price of $35 and a size of 1 vToken. This will allow us to market buy 1 vToken.

Step 3

Now we can also write options for premium. Go to “Sell”

Input the number of options you want to write. Confirm.

Step 4

To check your order history, go to “My Positions”.
