Is the presence of GMC Hummer EV to provide resistance to the Tesla Cyber Truck?
Since the emergence and display of Tesla's cyber trucks, there have been a number of truck car manufacturers who have followed Tesla's footsteps in making Cyber Trucks, one of which is GMC.
One of the new breakthroughs in the trucking industry of the future is to make trucks with modern designs and accompanied with capable capabilities. GMC reportedly will give a surprise in the middle of 2020 with the debut of 2021 GMC Hummer EV which is ready to be produced in 2021. Is the presence of this truck on the grounds of causing resistance to Tesla's Cyber Trucks?
Hummer, which was originally produced by GM itself, is now under the auspices of GMC. Of course, the appearance of the old Hummer with a V8 gas engine is not a characteristic of the latest generation Hummer. The appearance of the Hummer EV is very different and uses a different engine. This truck is driven by an electric motor that uses power from the battery.
Both the Hummer EV and the Cyber Trucks owned by Tesla are trucks powered by electric motors. Reportedly, the Hummer EV will produce 1000 hp of power, which produces 11,500 lb-ft of torque. While the Tesla Cyber Truck is capable of producing 800 horsepower.
With all the capabilities and advantages of Tesla Cyber Trucks such as bullet proof body, will it also be applied to the Hummer EV which was once very identical to a military car or presented only to side by side with 2021 GMC Sierra 1500 and 2021 Chevrolet Silverado HD heavy work trucks?
