    Did I really manage to get a comment in before the post is inundated with Spam?
    I've stopped trying to read the comment section of your posts which I used to quite enjoy because they are full of spam. Will the spam/whale wars ever end?
    I assume your post refers to the website Steemit (as the title suggests) and not the Steem blockchain.
    I agree that Steemit is a bit shit and I'm surprised that so many people still use it when there are far better alternatives.

    There are over 1800 comments on this post with the majority being from animal control linking to a video. This happens to pretty much every post he makes. What a waste of space on the block chain. I don't think Bernie is leaving 1800+ meaningless comments on individual blogs but if he is I think that is a waste of blockchain space too and makes it difficult to follow a conversation thread, should one start. If you say Bernie and his type are ruining it then how is spamming his posts with 1800+ meaningless comments going to make things better?

    they are called bots, and they are the bain of steemit.

    he is the pioneer of bots it seems.

    and somehow didn't get the boot immediately.

    proof of brain is why i signed up, it made sense.

    now it is 'proof of wallet' ... lol.

    i've never seen a 1800+ commented thread, but i'd bet it was to cover up some words he didn't like.

    and yes, i do think it is possible he has that much 'power' to create 1800+ comments.
