As summer gently fades, as I walk home...
Pearl Jam's Why Go Home is about a girl locked up in a mental asylum. Wrongly diagnosed of having a mental illness, she suffers alone “Why Go” is a song that reflects the girl's lack of motivation to go back home after spending time unjustly in the asylum.
