Hello @pennsif, hello already appointed steem-atlas ambassador, I am moved to apply for this position having scale myself and make efforts to make publication on the steem-atlas to see the working technique, having passed through series of correction, followed instructions, and asked question to know more about the project, I decided to apply for this position. I am Robert, Nsisong John with the username @nsijoro on the steemit platform, I joined steemit may 2023, after being verified after about a month, I became to be very active on the steemit platform, and the strive for activeness and engagement has led me to become a moderator in the incredible india community which taught me all the basis to becoming a successful moderator, after resignation, I took the position of a moderator in Teachers and Student community, I told my admin about my plan to resign as well, currently I hold no position but a Member of the Teacher and student community, authorised to create contest by the admin which I will do soon. Moreover I wish to apply as Nigerian representative for the steem-atlas project.

LANGUAGE

I am a fluent english speaker and that could be seen from the last comic video i made on the latina community a week ago. I hold a powerful device which can help me write in numerous languages with the help of a translator.

NEW FEATURES SUGGESTION

I have a suggestion and that came up when my post was verified by mohammadfaisal and miftahulrizky, just like the google map has a place where one could measure destination, assuming a location you are and moving to another place from that location, i feel that should be applied on the steem atlas in a way that one could measure a distance from one post to another, so it will make it easier for atlas ambassador to trace the place, verify it on the map via steematlas.

And also thought of something, why do we take those picture if we can't find them on the map with a link that can connect to steemit, I feel a waterwark with the inscription steemit.com should be applied to those picture as a way of promoting the steemit platform or maybe a link to those picture comnected to steemit, more suggestion will come as i continue to explore steem-atlas

I know everything is possible with programming and our project host is a programmer.

BENEFITS OF STEEM-ATLAS

People travel often and as at when i didn't join steemit my suggestion on the location of a hospital on the map carried multiple views, i notice people suggestion on most location is not detailed and with a more detailed suggestion on the map via the steem-atlas project it will promote this location and also steemit and with the application of a light watermark on the images placed there it will insert a driving tool on people who uses the map for finding locations to ask more about the platform, this will promote steemit to the world and certainly will attract more investors to the platform, because investors/businessmen travels a lot
