Application For Atlas Ambassador From Bangladesh.

I am @mostofajaman from Bangladesh. Assalamu Alaikum friends, I hope you are well. As per the announcement [STEEM ATLAS @ 6 Feb '25] Would you like to be an Atlas Ambassador? of @pennsif Sir, I have come to apply for Steem Atlas Ambassador. As a Bangladeshi steemit user, I am very interested in becoming a Steem Atlas Ambassador. Through https://steematlas.com/ we will be able to easily know from which location each user is posting and who is where. Our connectivity with Bangladeshi users will be easier and stronger through Steem at Last. This will further expand the originality of the platform. We will be able to see the exact locations of users from different countries here and monitor them. I want to spread https://steematlas.com/ in Bangladesh and strengthen our connectivity.

Summary of my Steem history

I joined the platform on 2021-04-25 and currently I have full participation in all aspects of the platform. I have been serving as the moderator of the Steam for Bangladesh community for a long time. I am also managing the community as the admin of the Nature and Agriculture community. I am also serving as the moderator of a new community we have started. I have been working on the platform for more than three years and I am not a person with any bad thoughts in this capacity. I love the platform and want to take the platform further forward with my time and talent. In addition, I organize weekly meetings with Bangladeshi users every week where I talk directly to the users on Discord. In the meetings, I solve the problems of the users and give guidelines. As a Bangladeshi, I can speak and write Bengali. I can also speak and write English. I also understand and speak Hindi. I often talk to and guide Pakistani and Indian Hindi speaking users.

A suggestion for a new feature you would like to see added to Steem Atlas

While searching, I noticed that when zooming in, the roads and places of small villages and small institutions are not clearly visible, making it very difficult to determine the location. I think more details need to be added to the Steem Atlas map. I would also like to add here that any user can create a location of their own. Any steemit user can create the location of various institutions, schools, colleges and universities, business organizations, markets and any user can use that location. If apps can be developed for a mobile user, then it can increase in scope and will be convenient for users. Although it works great for laptop users.

How you think Steem Atlas can benefit the Steem platform as a whole

While posting on the platform, we share the location of the place from various websites. It is difficult for strangers to be sure whether it is the right place or location. I think it will be very easy for us to understand whether a user is sharing the location of the right place. Moreover, if we all use the map related to the platform and connected, then we will not have to take the help of any other website or map. This will help our users a lot in sharing the location and which will be accurate and sure. A steemit user will share his locations and any user will be able to see them in the Steem Atlas map and can see his posts and can know about the environment of that area by looking at his photographs. The interest of other users in reading a user's post will increase. Steem Atlas is a good step that will increase more connectivity with our users and their real locations will be available which will not be a problem for a scammer or bad people to share the location or share it in some bad platform. There are some dishonest users who open multiple accounts and post without any reward, in that case if they use their real location we can get information between them which will help us to find the scammers Steem Atlas. After all it is going to be very effective and its popularity is increasing day by day we want to spread it among them so that they can use it properly and share their exact location on steemit.
