Jupiter trine Natal Mercury (USA transits)

A weeklong US transit starting today:
Transit Jupiter will trine Natal Mercury.
Transit Jupiter is currently in Scorpio and 12th (Pisces) house of the US.
Natal Mercury is in Cancer and 8th (Scorpio) house of the US.
These are very watery (emotional, irrational, intuitive) positions.
Jupiter: planet of expansion, foreign affairs, law and philosophy is affecting our collective/individual unconscious of 12th house, combined with the controlling/transformational aspect of Scorpio.
Mercury: planet of communication, swiftness, health, and technology can excel with details, secrecy and transformation in 8th house, and makes emotional decisions (v.s. logic) in Cancer.
I say LOOK OUT with this "harmonious" aspect. Be wary of any restrictions or laws being discussed at this time, as it sounds like there are secrecy and undercurrents that aren't immediately obvious. Notice the Scorpio influence on both planets. Emotional appeal will tempt many as this is a very emotional transit.
Many recently started calling for legislation to "fix" the internet, do not be deceived as this is the legal equivalent of inviting the vampire into your domain - a decision you could forever regret.
The best we can do is keep focused on logic and truth, and stay firm in your positions, stand your ground even when things get emotionally intense.
