RE: Learn The Alphabet In American Sign Language
Is it the same system in Canada?
OK, I googled: https://www.quora.com/Which-signed-languages-are-used-by-deaf-people-in-Canada ...yay, it's primarily ASL there, too, except for francophones in Quebec. I had originally thought only the US and France used ASL. Good to know! :D
The answer did say there are some in the maritimes who use a different one, but that it's dying out in favor of ASL.
I appreciate your recommendation of blockbrothers as witnesses! :)
My Mom worked with severely handicapped people for many years and we learned a lot of signs thanks to her sharing her knowledge with us. I've lost a lot of it, but still retained most of the alphabet. Was teaching it to the little guys last year, and then stopped. Looking forward to getting back into it.
This was the girl we were watching. YOu will just die from her cuteness. "Yeah, Like this!"
Also, I can't get the vid to load still, I'll keep trying but maybe slip it onto youtube tonight for dear ol Lynds if it doesn't work for me by then. I'll keep you posted. <3
Oh no, do let me know. <3 Dear ol' Lynds. ^_^
Still no go :(
Put it on Facebook for you! <3
