-Asian Games 2018 Live Updates Day 6: Rohan Bopanna-Divij Sharan Win Men's Doubles Tennis Gold
India started their Asian Games 2018 Day 6 campaign with a bang by winning a gold and two bronze medals in rowing. The day started with Dushyant winning bronze in men's Lightweight Single Sculls. Dushyant, who was declared the best rower in the 2013 National Championships, finished third on the podium with a timing of 7.18.76. The Indian, who began rowing in 2012 at an army training camp in Roorkee, had won a bronze in the last edition of the Games, too, in Incheon. This was followed by another bronze with Rohit Kumar and Bhagwan Singh finishing third in men's Lightweight Double Sculls. Following that, the the Indian team of of Sawarn Singh/Dattu Bhokanal/Om Prakash/Sukhmeet Singh won gold in men's Quadruple Sculls to add to India's gold medal tally. (MEDAL TALLY)

On Day 6, gymnast Dipa Karmakar will be in action in the balance beam event at 2:38 pm IST. Karmakar hasn't been able to perform exceedingly well in the competition yet. Hopefully, she will shine in the balance beam event. The Indian hockey team will be up against Japan at 6:30 pm IST. They beat Indonesia 17-0 and Hong Kong 26-0 in their first two Pool A games. Kidambi Srikanth will take on Wong Wing Ki in the round of 32 match at 10:30 am IST.
