၂၀၁၈ ခုႏွစ္ Optimist Asian and Oceanian Championship (OAOC) ရြက္ေလွၿပိဳင္ပြဲႀကီးကို ႏို၀င္ဘာလ(၁၁)ရက္တြင္ ျမန္မာႏိုင္ငံရြက္ေလွအဖြဲ႕ခ်ဳပ္က ဦးစီးၿပီး ဧရာ၀တီတိုင္းေဒသႀကီးရိွ ေငြေဆာင္ကမ္းေျခတြင္ စတင္ဖြင့္လွစ္က်င္းပခဲ့သည္။ ၿပိဳင္ပြဲကို Newe Saung Yacht Club & Resort တြင္ ၂၀၁၈ ခုႏွစ္၊ ႏိုင္၀င္ဘာလ(၁၀)ရက္မွ (၁၇)ရက္အတြင္း (၆)ရက္ၾကာက်င္းပသြားမည္ျဖစ္သည္။

ၿပိဳင္ပြဲတြင္ အသက္(၁၅)ႏွစ္ေအာက္လူငယ္မ်ားအတြက္ အသံုးျပဳသည့္ တစ္ဦးတည္းစီးနင္းရေသာရြက္ေလွငယ္မ်ားျဖင့္ ယွဥ္ၿပိဳင္ၾကမည္ျဖစ္ၿပီး အာရွ၊ ပစိဖိတ္သမုဒၵေဒသႏွင့္ ေျမာက္အေမရိကတုိ႔မွ လူငယ္ရြက္ေလွအားကစားသမားမ်ား လာေရာက္ယွဥ္ၿပိဳင္လ်က္ရိွသည္။ OAOC ရြက္ေလွၿပိဳင္ပြဲႀကီးသည္ ၂၀၁၃ ဆီးဂိမ္းၿပိဳင္ပြဲႏွင့္ ၂၀၁၅ Wace Rider Cup ၿပိဳင္ပြဲတုိ႔ကို ေအာင္ျမင္စြာက်င္းပခဲ့ၿပီးေနာက္ တတိယေျမာက္အႀကီးမားဆံုး ႏိုင္ငံတကာၿပိဳင္ပြဲလည္းျဖစ္သည္။ OAOC ရြက္ေလွၿပိဳင္ပြဲကို ႏိုင္ငံေပါင္း(၁၆)ႏုိင္ငံမွ လူငယ္ရြက္ေလွကစားသမား(၁၃၀)ဦး၀င္ေရာက္ယွဥ္ၿပိဳင္ေနသည္။

ၿပိဳင္ပြဲ၀င္ႏိုင္ငံမ်ားမွာ ၾသစေၾတးလ်၊ ကေနဒါ၊ တရုတ္၊ ဖီဂ်ီ၊ ေဟာင္ေကာင္၊ အိႏိၵယ၊ ဂ်ပန္၊ ကိုရီးယား၊ ျမန္မာ၊ နယူးဇီလန္၊ အိုမန္၊ စင္ကာပူ၊ သိရိလကၤာ၊ တိုင္ေပ၊ ထုိင္းႏွင့္ အေမရိကန္တို႔ျဖစ္ၾကသည္။ ေငြေဆာင္ကမ္းေျခတြင္ ရာသီဥတုအေျခအေနဆိုးရြားေနေသာ္လည္း ၿပိဳင္ပြဲဆက္လက္က်င္းပရန္ စီစဥ္ထားေၾကာင္းသိရသည္။
