Mermay 2018
Mermay is a thing. During the month of May people online create mermaid images and use the hashtag #mermay to share them. There is even a daily mermaid challenge, but I didn't get that far into it this year.
And since I pretty much don't do anything without making fan art version for The Magicians, I also did them as mermaids.
It was entirely ridiculous and amusing to create!
For good measure here are some mermaid images that I have made in the past...just because I don't know if I would ever share them otherwise. Hold on to your seats theres a few of them!

I do not think I have a favourite mythical creature... I'm sometimes fae sometimes ghost... but I guess something in between, something old and shadowy :)
I have done precisely a selection of mermay pictures from the past few years and I have the article drafted :) should be up in a couple of days :) so once more I'm not surprised we coincide being total fantasy geeks. By the way it's geek pride day today :)

It was born in Spain but it became HUUUUGE and spread to other countries...

@therealwolf 's created platform smartsteem scammed my post this morning (mothersday) that was supposed to be for an Abused Childrens Charity. Dude literally stole from abused children that don't have mothers ... on mothersday.
