Digital Art from Original Oil Painting : Escher Aliens in a Symmetrical Universe

This is a new Digital Painting working from an original Oil painting of wildflowers in my garden. I am doing these digital experiments and studies working with some of the photo and painting apps on my old iPod touch. ( namely PicsArt and Instagram filters)

Here I have used a mirror effect to create an Escher type pattern that reveals the faces of many aliens hiding in my garden. I also is Colour saturation, fish eye distortions, swirl, contrast, filters to enhane the discovery of symmetrical face s and creatures in my paintings.

I will eventually do a timelapse of this process but I am slowly running out of memory on my iPod. I don’t think it was built to handle so many thousands of images as I need to same each work during the process in case I go to far with the distortions.
