Flying high - new artwork

Here's my latest creation 'Flying High'. Like most of my designs, it went through a number of changes before I was finally happy with the end result.

Fisrtly it started with an idea and a quick sketch. Who doesn't love bunny's dressed in pjs

My idea involved bunnies flying in the sky with balloons, originally each balloon was going to have a day of the week on it... oh how the weeks fly by.

I wasn't keen on the writing on the balloons, so I decided to glue patterned paper onto each balloon instead, and coloured the bunnies in, each in their own colourful unique pajamas.

I uploaded the image onto my computer, and using gimp I played around with the background, and added clouds. I discoved a mosaic filter and though it added a great final touch.
