This is a special post for the 10th ARTstyleART Challenge - again, my personal style is a bit different ...more naive with a bold color palette - not too realistic.

This is an original large scale painted wood-box featuring an Indonesian Village Scene With Floating Fish Market - Acrylic on a recycled and restored wood box.

This painted box is part of a large collection of wooden boxes, wardrobes, tabletops and chests. All boxes feature Indonesian Village market scenes - from flower and fruit markets to fish markets at the harbor.

These are my favorite places here at home in Indonesia - the fruit and vegetable markets, the flower markets and the nearby harbors with the fish markets. I could walk around for hours and watch the noisy activities and the colorful people...
