Art Comment Contest: Grey
If it comes to art, there are so many options to create something and pour our feelings into it. An eye for art?
Does grey art add something to our lives? Some say pencil drawings aren't art. This contest isn't about the "grey art museum" (I couldn't find grey art at all).
If you like to see what grey art can look like you can have a look here at grey wall art (and of course again not everything shown is grey).
This contest is easy.
You post your "orange" art in the comments section. Since this is the community for art and artists, the idea is to show something creative. Creative means you made it or someone else did, and it is what you call artistic.
The colour that must appear in the art you share is: grey
Add a text of at least 100 words. Self-written, please, no AI-generated texts.

بارش کی امد سے پہلے جب اسمان کا رنگ بدل جاتا ہے اور سورج بادلوں میں چھپنا شروع ہو جائے تو وہ ایک انوکھا منظر ہوتا ہے دیکھنے والی انکھ اور پسند کرنے والی سوچ ہونی چاہیے۔
مگر اج کل چونکہ مونسون کا موسم ہے اس وجہ سے اسمان کا رنگ بھی اکثر و بیشتر گرے ہو جاتا ہے کالے بادل جب سفید بادلوں میں مکس ہوتے ہیں تو وہ گرے رنگ اختیار کر لیتے ہیں۔
میری خواہش ہے کہ میرے کچھ ساتھی بھی اس خوبصورت مقابلے میں حصہ لیں۔

میں نے اپنی گیلری میں گرے رنگ سے مشابہ جو تصاویر دیکھیں ان کو یہاں شیئر کیا مگر اگر یہ تصاویر مقابلے کے لحاظ سے بہتر نہیں ہے تو میں اپنی پوسٹ کو ایڈٹ کر کے دوسری تصاویر شیئر کر سکتی ہیں۔

Drawing grapes in grey I learned about tone. It is a great way to practice. No color means you only see light and shadow. This shows the true shape.
I started by drawing light circles for the grape bunch. Made sure the light comes from one spot. Then I darkened a bit grapes that are behind others. Or made them darker where they touch.
Drawing in grey helps we see shapes better. A simple grape becomes a lesson of drawing art. You will find much beauty in small details.
For me Grey is much more than a plain color. It is a key tool for me in drawing. Grey helps make art look real.
Do not think of grey as just a neutral. Grey color can be used to create real scenes and show deep dimensions.
