Fund Raising for the upcoming Art Workshop for the Children of Manila

Good day to all,

I am Genesis A. Aala, an engineer and an artist. I, together with some of my artists friends have conducted art exhibits to raise funds for the cancer patients and other people who needed financial support in the last 2 years. This year, we would like to extend our blessings to the street children around Manila by conducting a simple art workshop and program.

Handling crayons and other coloring materials have been one of the most enjoyable part of every childhood. Unfortunately, there were children who cannot even have their decent pencil and crayon stick because of poverty.

I always dream to share my talent and skills among these children for I believe that they have the potential in terms of creativity, unfortunately, they don't have the resources.

Art Workshop

In line with this, we target to cater and assist more or less 50 of them and teach them some art lessons, that we planned to conduct this summer. We just like to share our skills that may also help them in their future. I believe that they have talents that are still hidden and we want to help them unleash it.

To make this possible, the upvotes and rewards that this post would receive will be used for the purchasing of the art materials that we are going to distribute with these children. These materials may include the following:

• Wax crayons
• Water color
• Paintbrushes
• Pencils
• Sketchpad

The estimated cost for these is Php 200- 250 or $4-5 per children.

It was here in Steemit when I saw a blog for fund raising for an event like this in Davao.
