'Traversing Condition'

If you take a closer look, you'll notice that ivy is not connected to anything, except for the post. A part of the plant was left by accident when someone was clearing the post. The light was really interesting, therefore it wasn't a tough decision to take this photograph. I very much like the structure of the old wooden post and the way the lighting accentuates its surface. We clearly see two parts: the shaded area and the lit one. The ivy is in between, with still enough space left for its shadow.

It is a closed composition with both lit and unlit background. It does carry meaning but it's not an obvious one. Is it about life prevailing over death? The part of ivy is still alive, even though it's actually cut from the roots. Is it about human's vain wish to unsuccessfully reach immortality? Is it about human's condition of traversing on a border between dark and light, sadness and happiness, right or wrong? Could be any of them if we decide to think deeper. This time I will not tell you what it means to me, you be the judge of the meaning. The real beauty of any art lies in the eye of the beholder. You're welcome to be the witness and let me know what does it mean to you?

This situation lasted only for a minute. I was able to take only one good out of eight taken photographs. Then the cloud came and after it was gone the ratio and positioning of the light were different. You are looking at the very first take. Most of the times, in my case the best one is either the first or the last one. :)

Enjoy! :)

I loved your post

I loved the post too

The photo is at first glance normal, but there is something hidden in it!

Wooden piles made from tree trunks whose branches have been carefully cut, usually preserved and with small ends as a pointed part.

Sometimes a large end is aimed at a special purpose intention, such as in a very soft soil where it will move back against the shaft.

Sometimes a pointed tip is fitted with a metal shoe when the stake must penetrate hard soil or gravel. The use of wood piles is a cheap way of using piles as a foundation. Wooden poles will last long and not easily rot the pole pole in a state always submerged in full under the water table. Wooden piles will be more easily damaged or alternated.

Benefits of using wooden piles. Relatively lighter wooden piles are easy to transport. Large tensile strength so that at the time of appointment for erection does not cause problems as in the pile of concrete precast. Easy to work on this pole pole is no longer able to enter the ground.

This wood pile is better for friction pile than for end bearing pile because the tension is relatively small. Because the wooden pole is relatively flexible against the horizontal direction in comparison with piles other than wood, the folding of this pole receives a horizontal that is not fixed, this wood pile will bend and return to the position after the horizontal is lost. This is often the case on where to live.

You are right that different people can have different interpretation of the same picture. With the dead wooden post, there is the appearance of some green. Dead wooden post can also be knowledge or the memories of the deceased who had left precious teaching or had a great positive impact in our lives. Even for us who are still living, we should make good us of our limited lives to curate positive impactful memories for the ones around. Thanks for another reflective photograph for a thought provoking initiative.

The image of an old wooden pillar that is truly artistic and characteristic. the color of wood that is getting brown makes this wood look immortal for many years of silence there but still patiently radiate charm. The cracked line on his highly structured pole made him look even stronger. This old wooden pole has been a silent witness for many years here, the heat of the sun and the rain from nature is the daily food and drink. Her true faithful friend there is the leaves that propagate to her body. He has long been silent there but he is still like old times, the older he is there, he looks stronger and stronger.

It's funny how you mention that the light needed only lasted for short time. Sometimes the best moments are the shortest ones and more often than not we miss them. This could also be a theme for the photo. How quickly a moment can disappear. Like the light disappearing into the darkness. I find the shape of the post is similar to the shape of totem poles we see here.

He tried to survive, even though he was wrong address ...
but I salute with his struggle to survive ..
I am impressed with the attitude that never gives up in life ..
That's what leaves do ...

if I was a living tree, I would approach it.

Your photograph is Great @velimir

salute for you

You are very sensitive in LIFE.

Nice to visit your blog. ^ _ ^

Thank You

What a beautiful wood artwork. It looks magnificent. The shaded part looks more artistic than the lighter part.
Well, I can think of one meaning now which is: good and bad side of life working together to bring a better piece out of a person. Sometimes we do think that the bad phase is just bad but it go further into the future that brings the good phase of life. Without something bad sometimes, we might not value the good side we encounter.

the color of wood that is getting brown makes this wood look immortal for many years of silence there but still patiently radiate charm.your art creativity really good.a best artist may its good art doing.overall mindblowing and excellent sir.thank u very much for your good post of art.. @velimir

I am amazed at your ability to use the right time to create great photos. This is not the first or second photo in which you used the time for your own benefit :)
The main advantage of this photo is light. The lighting transmitted the surface of the old wooden post. Blagodar lighting creates a rolling effect. And the ivy in this composition is like cherry on the cake.
Thank you
