A very difficult colour to name. What does it say on your tube? (Usually not purple, but violet, mauve or even cobalt violet) I am even wondering if there is not magenta in your painting. I find it hard to tell those two apart when not next to eachother. (In colour therapy we are supposed to be able to because they lie miles apart: first colour infront of the light and last one - purple - behind the light!). I am used to working in water colour, so help me out here, if you can.
