Original Art and Story: "The Most Powerful Creature"

in #art7 years ago (edited)

Hello Steemians! How have you been? Thinking about the weekend already to relieve some stress and create some blogs, aren’t you? Since there’s still a couple of days to go before your much-awaited staycation, let me share with you an art to help you relieve some stresses. Art for me has been a stress reliever, and I hope it will work for you too.

Last week, I created an art story about an adopted tiger named Lakipub. If you have some time, you can read it here: Original Art and Story: "The King of Our Tribe". This time, I created another Art story which is a sequel to my previously-posted ARTicle.

“The Most Powerful Creature”

The whole animal kingdom opposed to have a tiger named Lakipub as their new king. Since the old king lion lost his sole biological heir due to an animal hunting years ago, he initiated a competition in his realm to seek for the strongest and most powerful lion next to him.

1.jpg

All of the candidates undergone several tests that could help the king assess their mental, physical, and emotional toughness, which are essential qualities needed to be the new ruler. After the rigorous race, the king lion finally chose a lion named Leo for his terrific abilities.

2.jpg

Leo ruled the kingdom smoothly, as his mentor, the previous king, made sure he is well guided with the animal kingdom’s governance. A year later, the former king lion died. Leo ruled the kingdom on his own, and that’s when the realm’s horror began. Leo became blinded by the power vested upon him. He became very overwhelmed with the great influence he gained, that his pure desires have turned into greed, and his righteous intentions have turned into ambiguous judgments while neglecting the lowly creatures behind.

3.jpg

Leo started modifying the rules set by the late king, giving more favor to the lion’s clan. Inequality, injustice, and arrogance became prevalent, which eventually commenced to the animal clans’ clashes within the jungle. The wilderness that was once peaceful and harmonious became a battlefield of different species.

“No one will ever make me bow”, this is the number one motto of Leo.

4.jpg

With the animals being fed up with Leo’s supremacy, they gathered together and challenged the arrogant king, hoping one of them will be able to make the king bow. King Leo conceitedly accepted the dare while saying “You against me? Not a chance!”

6.jpg

The toughest and strongest creatures across different species gave their best but to no avail. One loud roar from Leo was enough for them to abort their missions.

7.jpg

“Is that all you’ve got? Do you think you can make the strongest and most powerful creature bow? How dare you question my authority? I will not let this disloyalty pass! Those who have gone against me will be rewarded with great punish---- Ouch! Aw! What is this?”

10.jpg

Everyone was in awe while witnessing the haughty king kneeling with great pain. This is the very first time they saw king Leo with such deserted look. They looked closely and was amazed how this tiny creature, an organism they treated and viewed with no value -- was able to make the arrogant king bow.

Artist's Note:

Just like how the story portrayed the Ant's capability despite its invaluable size, we should never underestimate the people who we think are simpler than ourselves. As what @surpassinggoogle said, everyone of us has something to offer, even the most untalented ones.

I hope you enjoyed this Art Story as much as I did! Til the next Art story series, "read" you around! :)
