Grandpa's Style

Hello creative community,

Although I did not make it an official drawing challenge, I managed to create my third drawing today that features grandparents. I made a grand pa this time. I love his outfit with animal prints.

These are some of the work in progress photos:

Line drawing which shows a dark hair but eventually I changed it to gray

The base colors are appropriate for an office work but grandpa added his own personality with this animal print

The tie has another kind of pattern to it. Oriental characters that is what they seem to me. Yes I do use a reference photo for this drawing.

Here you see where I placed the shadows and highlights.
