Greetings mortal earth bipeds! Did you know that graven images of animal spirits have been going on since pre-history here on earth? As usual with ancient art work, there is a kind of quiet mystique to the most of them. As humans seek to make sense of their mysterious origins, there emerges the long recurring tendency to deify things. This is nothing new...

One time, several thousand years ago, my ship crash landed on a back woods planet in what you call the crab nebula. In those days, I was a brash young alien robot, stranded in an unfamiliar world! I stayed as a guest for the time it took to rebuild my craft. The native creatures of that planet thought that I was a heavenly manifestation, and they made golden statues of me! One of the statues even got shot into outer space, and who knows where it might have ended up :D

It is interesting to think how many things have been misconstrued as deities over the years. Consider the possibility that one of your earth satellites could one day reach a planet with sentient inhabitants. They might see it as a divine object crashed from the heavens. They might even worship it. A modern human satellite might appear as a god to them...

Bipedal humanoids across the cosmos will continue to make paranormal mountains out of easily explainable molehills.

May we be ever wary of again endowing such personification; should we pause but only for a moment and again fall victim to such backwards thinking.

Oh it will continue to happen...

Resteemed, bro. Very nice.

Thanks dude :)
