Heavy gates

Good morning! This is a design for some heavy stone gates, or are they metallic? Hmm anyway, these heavy doors, errr, wait, or are they gates...Huh...maybe it's a book cover, or a fancy ornate cabinet. Ok real talk here, i honestly have no idea what this is.

    I'm imagining them as elevator doors... slowly opening and beckoning me to step inside. But I'm not sure I'm that brave. Who knows where an elevator like this might go?
