The Beauty Of Film Cameras

Hello Steemians! I was passing by the explorer page when I saw the tag of art, as an art lover myself I couldn't resist but enter to see what's trendy or new on the page, then it came to my mind that "Hey, I own a film camera, why not talk about it?"

So that's what I decided, and here I am, a person who loves photography but knows so little, trying to talk about it, its true that I don't know too much about the topic, but I love learning new things, and that's what I have done in the past month with my camera

My lovely camera is an Asahi Pentax Spotmatic, it was from my grandpa and it's such a beautiful camera!

I gave it some attention just now, because before I didn't know how to use it and I didn't search either

Then, I started searching and learning, and I mean everything! From the model, year, and how long it lasted, till the type of batteries that uses, and how it works!

oh man, it works fantastic, the resolution of the photos is so good, and just the feeling of it... It's fantastic

And I think one of the reasons why film cameras are so precious and more sentimental, it's the feeling of it, the known that you only have a few shots, you think the shot, the scene, the light, everything

The feeling that you have not knowing how it looks your photo because you have to wait till you develop the film, you don't know if its wrong or right

Waiting for them to develop, and seeing them is the best feeling in the world

You live the moment
And that's what photography it's all about

Of course, I'm not saying that digital cameras can't do that, but there's something special about these cameras that I can't explain with words, the only thing that I can say it's that try it, try shooting with a film camera and you'll experience the feeling I'm talking about
