🎨Draw everyday for 21 days non-stop, who's with me?

in #art7 years ago (edited)

Hi friends, I'm back with my second sketch! Today's theme is a glass of water and I added a lemon in to make it look more interesting. Hope you'll like it. 😊 I used the same calligraphy pen as before.

Thanks for stopping by!💓

Lovely sketch @midnightviola!!!
Thank you very much for sharing with us. :)

Thank you, I would love to see more people join me in this challenge, haha! Spread joy with art💓

You're most welcome! And that's great. :)
But if you ask me to draw an apple, I would manage an ill-formed egg with the best efforts, haha

hahahaha, art comes in many forms I guess!🙈

Hey, this sounds fun. I'm terrible at sketching, but I'd like to join! What are the rules? Although I'm not much better with illustrator, can I sketch digitally?

Here's a digital sketch of fancy water.

Number one rule with art is that there's no rule, my friend. You did an awesome job! 👏🏻💓 It makes me very happy to see others start drawing too.😊 Thank you for the lovely drawing.

Thanks for the motivation. I appreciate the kind words, but I'm fully aware of the atrocity of the drawing. What I wanted to experiment is quickly draw the lines without disconnecting it until the end of the line.

That can totally be your style!I mean sometimes I look at paintings hanging in the museum and wonder "why do we call this art?". Art is an abstract idea so don't give yourself too much pressure.😉

Good point! On a side note, I'll just add that I would contribute some of that fault to Marcel Duchamp and the Dadaism movement back in the early 20th century, around 1915. I don't want to ruin your post with an image of Marcel Duchamp's "art", but if you google his name, you'll see what I mean (also why I didn't post it here).

hahaha, I just googled him. Well, there's no right or wrong with art also so I guess let's not live in the shadow of others?!🙈I support you, my friend. Keep sharing.😄

Yes! you're right. Actually, it's motivation to create anything without considering judgment. That's perhaps why modern art is what it is. Let's see what happens at the end of 19 days.
