About Loving
If you know me, you also know that I have the tendency of being in a silly mood more often than not. Existing in this world with a smile on my face is one of the privileges I thank Life the most for providing me, but today (and yesterday) I dedicate my gratitude to the special person I have the honour of building a relationship with. If I'm sorry for whoever has the bad luck of living without a smile, I'm even more sorry for who hasn't been lucky enough to cross with her in their journey in this planet. May it be the first biennium of many, exchanging smiles on our faces, investing in our dreams, taking care of each other together, and working for this existing to be better for everyone

Greetings, loving travelers!
Yesterday, on the 27th of July of 2025, marks the two-years anniversary of when me and my partner started our story together. I wrote the text above about'er, while she shared this little art piece I gave her on our first dinner date; in her words, she's sure that it was the first step in our love story together.
Her grandmother's name in Portuguese is similar to the word for ladybug, fact that she told me when we were still only friends, so I took the photo that illustrates the box and sent her. Later, using the TwoPiece model box from boxes.py as the basis, I engraved the image using grey patterns through a CNC Laser machine. I hope to soon start my series about Digital Fabrication on the Popular STEM community, and then I'll be able to better explain about how this process works. But for now, the laser cutter basically has two axis to move its head horizontally and vertically, while also having a set of mirrors that reflect the laser onto the focus to cut and engrave the material.

The post processes included finishing the MDF pieces cut, gluing them together, and painting it. For it, I used thick pens and red nail enamel to create a different texture and gloss to it. I produced this piece in a time when it was more difficult for me to express myself through words, so it makes me even happier that I managed to express how much she meant to me through my art. Loving is not a general thing, it's particular to each one individual; and maybe that's what makes it so special.

And you know what I also love? Creating and reading great content! Because of that, I support a network where talented authors can harness #lifetime-rewards. This is what @thoth.test is starting to make possible, you can learn more about it in its git. I've once more set 5% of the rewards of this lovely post to support it! This post's beneficiaries also include 25% to @null, in order to fight inflation in our network. #burnsteem25
Now it's your turn: have you verbalized your love to someone in your life today? There's definitely still time to do it (:
