Interactive Paintings: The Vagabonds, Season 2, Episode 2

in #art7 years ago

We're off to a great start in Season 2! 13 entries (more than any episode of season 1!) were made for the first game of Season 2, thank you! The entries and the winner (of the bragging rights only!) follow, but first...

If you're new to this (seasoned players can skip this part): this is the gist of it: The Vagabonds are small, original paintings of mine. I post a new character every other day (roundabout every 48 hours). To play the game, make a comment on the painting with:

  • A unique first name of your choice for the character
  • Three random numbers between 1 and 9 (I have made lists, and the numbers will determine:
    • The character's positive trait
    • The character's negative trait
    • The character's Profession
  • A unique superpower/item/weapon/artefact of your choice

So your comment could look like this:

Georgina, 4-0-3, Ring of Chaos

I will reply to your comment with the outcome. In the example above this would/could determine your character as:

Georgina, the Helpful but Obese Nun with the Ring of Chaos.

After (roundabout) 48 hours, I will close the submissions for that particular character, and post a new one. One winner from all the entries will be chosen (randomly, by dice) and that will be how that character will remain. I'm looking forward to fun and weird combinations - so, if possible, try to not choose numbers that have already been chosen - it makes it all the more fun (although I can't prevent you from choosing numbers already chosen, of course).

When we have 8 of these determined Vagabonds, all 8 will enter Phase II of the game. But I can't tell you anything about that phase yet, only it should be random, interactive and fun!

Everybody is free to comment - there's no need to upvote or resteem (although I really do appreciate those!). A valid comment will get my 100% upvote for sure, and possibly (as in Season I) get a bit of SBD transferred.

Feel free to upvote other comments, especially if you like their weird and zany combination of positive and negative traits, identity and superpowers. Let's make this interactive and fun, ok?

Now then, then now!, this was the first Vagabond of Season II:

And these are the 13 (! Thank you!) entries/interpretations I received:

Curvisa, the Upbeat but Thieving Gambler with his Head-Splitting Chopping Board by @deemarshall
Enbow, the Genius but Foolhardy Ghost with the Electric Knitting Needles by @lenadr
Danny, the Cool but Distracted Gaucho with the Gold Sword by @anumsteemit
Caern, the Formidable but Lazy Octogenarian with his Dagger of Truth by @edward.maesen
Petros, the Fearless but Lazy Bodyguard with his Wood Saws by @lintah
Herald, the Formidable but Unrealistic Gaucho, weilding his Wild Fire Magic by @skippyza
Hugo, the Fearless but Unhygenic Bodyguard with the Gauge, an Uzi and the muthafuckin 22 by @fraenk
Kendrick, the Upbeat but Manic Bodyguard with his unique Golden Stick of Pleasure by @w0olf
Uncle Don, the Stalwart but Lazy Spelunker with his famous Belch of Thunder by @humanbot
Chester, the Genius but very Lazy Bodyguard with a Time Machine by @hazel420
Clint, the Genius but Unhygenic Gambler with his Hot Spears by @mellwe
Hayabusa, the Genius but Homesick Bodyguard with an authentic Samurai Sword by @sudong
Carl Bergson, the Dazzling but Deceptive Oligarch, owner of the one and only Bottomless Bottle of Endless Truths (some of them hurt) by @pv-p

And the winner is... Caern, the Formidable but Lazy Octogenarian with his Dagger of Truth by @edward.maesen, congrats!

We'll see Caern back in Phase 2 of this game, where he will face a new challenge. A Formidable but Lazy Octogenarian with a Dagger of Truth... I'm already curious, but for now, let's move to the second character, here she is:

Who is she? Give her name in the comments along with three numbers (1-9) which will randomly determine her character and profession. And what weird or wonderful superpower/item/ancient or everyday artefact does she have?

Do you have difficulty thinking of a superpower/magical item/extraordinary weapon/amazing artefact? Think fantasy or sci-fi movies/books/stories/legends/fairytales/... It could be anything, just have fun with it! And if all that fails, just mention it in the comment, we'll think of something together!

I made sure I am using numbers in positions unused up to now, It's based on this manually measured but scientifically accurate table:

123123123131231322123

I'm not sure how I should read that table, but you're right: all 3 unused numbers!
