Watercolor Art #12: "Spring Tulips" | Learn to paint with me (Stroke trchniques) | 15 minutes art
Greetings steemit community! Here is my twelfth (12th) artwork showing on how easily paint with stroke techniques.
Materials needed:
•thick paper (any white paper will do)
•watercolor (you can also use acrylic or any colouring materials for paint)
•paintbrush
Work-in-Process (WIP)
First, make a stroke of violet as the color of the first tulip.
Point your brush downwards. Make sure to use only one direction.
For the next tulip, I used red.
Repeat the same technique for the last or third spring tulip.
But in this part, I used two colors. Yellow and orange.
Then, paint a short stroke as connector to the stem.
Afterwards, create a longer stroke as tulip's stem.
This spring flower cannot be complete without leaves so let us create another few strokes on it!
To give a lighter blend, I used yellow to have this bright look.
If you want more arty look, you can can add this color behind the subject. I applied Wet on Wet technique in this part.
A 15-minute watercolor painting art that won't give you a "this is so hard to do" line. This is one of the basic painting tutorial for you. I hope this one gave you PUSH to try to explore more ideas in painting.
