    I love looking at old local maps of my hometown, Norfolk, VA. Many busy roads, of today, came before autos. One major road was referred to as "the road to the beach." My imagination runs wild wondering what it was like back then.

    I recently bought an old map from a secondhand store and it’s not even a local map on my country. It’s been pinpointed to be created in 1825,which is about right in my research. For $10 AUD, I was pretty pleased with the find and the education value
