My first mural

A little look back at my first ever mural, which I painted in Pai, Thailand a few years ago.

This was such an exciting thing for me and I felt so lucky to be invited to paint it. The mural was for Sunset Bar...Pai is in the mountains and I spent about 5 weeks there enjoying many a sunset. So this design came very naturally and worked with the somewhat awkward section of wall they offered up for painting.

My friend Ashley helped me paint, and it was a really amazing chilled out time with the best music...the DJ took our requests all day long!

I have been lucky enough to be invited to do two more murals since this one, and I loved them too. But this one will surely always have the most special place in my heart as I painted it with a great friend, in one of my favourite places in the world <3
