EAT PRAY TRAVEL LOVE

"IN THE END, I've come to believe in something I call * "The physics of the quest"* . A force in nature governed by laws as real as the laws of gravity

The rule of quest physics goes something like this-

"If you are brave enough to leave behind everything familiar and comforting, which can be anything from your house >to bitter, old resentments and set out on a truth seeking journey either externally or internally and if you are truely >willing to regard everything that happens to you on that journey as a clue and if you accept everyone you meet as your >teacher and if you are prepared most of all to face and forgive some very difficult realities about yourself, then the >truth will not be wit held from you

Being a big cinema fan and moreover hollywood fan, It's like the daily thing to watch a movie for me. Many of my posts have quotes, art inspired from various movies.

The above lines comes from the movie I watched today *** EAT PRAY LOVE*** . The movie is based on book which goes by the same name by Elizabeth Gilbert.

The movie comes under the travel genre and hence a must watch for me. As I started the movie, I saw a women living the usual life, living the usual circumstances and I couldn't figure out the travel thing in it.

After a few minutes, the lead take herself to an amazing journey. Here, Taking herself for the journey was not the thing, the thing was the reason that made her realize to do so. During a conversation with her friend, she realize that how much of love, care and kindness she is receiving from all the people around her that call themselves her friends and relatives and how nothing she is able to give any of these thing back. How every morning she wakes up and feels nothing. No goals, No motivation, no happiness, No sorrows!!!!!

So,she realize how unbalanced her life is right now. And hence she began the journey of self discovery and the balance she yearns in her life. She starts the journey from Italy, as she wants to learn the fancy words of Italian language and then she decides to go to India, to meet the Gita guru, she has heard so much of. Reaching India, she realize how much she hates the place and how it was not worth coming but then she gave her 100% to the ancient meditation techniques from India and she got a bit of baalnce back to her life .

Her third destination, she went to Bali, where she was suppose to meet the man, who had already predicted her future for her in the past. Living there, she was at fullest peace and she was feeling her life at full balance at last.

The same time she was feeling happy for her life and the peace she got, she fell in love with a Brazilian man. That's my favorite part. For a person. who had just found her peace and balance, it's very difficult to take risk and try something new and ruin everything. Instead of taking that risk, she choose to just close the love chapter and move forward with her life.

This was when her guru there told her "sometimes to lose balance for love is part of living balanced life" and she finally realize her love for the man.

In the end, I won't take it as a love story, rather a struggle story to fight against the fear of disappointment and living peacefully. It's not easy though, rather tough and here is what the lines at the beginning comes !!! Anytime, we feel ourselves in the dilemma, where we think our only peace lies in this comfort zone and also we want to go out and explore, I would suggest you later , because that's the thing you would pat yourself later.

I got inspired by the movie and thought of putting some of my motivation in some picture. So , i came up with an image of a girl amidst the mountains with her back pack and painted it. I took a bit help from some google image to make my imagination more clear :P

Wow loved this one. This painting gives me a very game-esque feel of a world that is no more. Hmmm really intriguing :)

and that's the thing about art. You can create even those things that even doesn't exist anymore :D

Lose, not loose. Something loose is floppy. Something you lose has disappeared.

mmmm....opppss !! :P

What an interesting piece of art! Loved it!
