My First Abstract Artwork

Hello my beloved steemians! :) It's been few days since i posted something on my blog. I got suddenly busy in school, we just focused on completing our final presentation for the oral defense our thesis which just ended earlier today. And we are so glad that we ended the defense successfully as what we have always prayed to almighty God, Jehovah.. To God be all the Glory..
Now it's time to free myself from stressing out.

I'm going to share to you My First Abstract Artwork which i just fished today..

I've been working on this for the past few days, i wasn't able to finish this earlier because of my busy sched this week and i was making a little progress each day because i'm only doing this before i go to bed, or when i have extra time at school, i always bring my art materials, just for my past time. And i go home very late at night so i got more little time to do some extra things like this because i still need to take some rest.

Doing things like this also relieves my stress. I find myself comfortable in doing it. My mind seemed to be focus and it keeps me calm in nature.

We presented our final defense in the morning. After we presented, I immediately went back to the office to finish what i have started.

ESSENCE OF BEING A WOMAN

You might be wondering how i come up with the idea of having this as the title of my artwork. Well, as for me, my artwork defines solely the essence of being a woman. I used it to illustrate a woman in the means of abstract.

In Abstract art, we cannot guarantee that every people who sees it would appreciate its nature. Some may find it hard to interpret the figure. Some may find it a hard time to understand its essence. Anyone can see its beauty, but not everyone can see the real essence which are puzzled behind every strokes.
Same goes with us women. We are an abstract being. Each one of us has a unique character, style, personality and beauty. One thing we had in common it the essence of being a woman.

What makes us an Abstract Being?

Most of men's perspective towards us is that we are COMPLICATED. They complain about us being moody, they get mad at us being jealous and insecure, emotional, attention-seeker, self-centered, etc. Us, Women are not trying to play that hard or making it hard for you to be able for you to deal with us. It is just because it all in our nature of being a woman. We don't intend to compete with your temper, we just got moody because we are having our monthly periods which you'll never understand how it feels because you are a boy. It sucks to bare all the pain of having dysmenorrhea. We're not being too emotional, its because we have PMS(Premenstrual Syndrome). We don't get jealous without any reasons, It hurts to see you flirting with other girls when you know i'm around. We hate it when you appreciate other girls or stair at 'em like your going to drool, it makes us feel like we're not that good enough. We're not trying to get your attention all the time, we just wanted to spent quality time together. We just wanted to be loved as much as how we love. We're not being self-centered, its just that we all know what we deserve and we never settle for anything less. It's not that we are being naive, Its just that we are special creation by God and you need to appreciate it.
I remembered what A Beauty Queen once said when she was asked with a question "What is the essence of being a woman?"

"Just being a woman is God's gift that all of us must appreciate. The origin of a child is a mother, and is a woman. She shows a man what sharing, caring and loving is all about. That is the essence of a woman." - Sushmita Sen (actor), Miss Universe 1994.

This is the most powerful answer i have ever heard for this question. Briefly and concisely, her answer says it all. Indeed we all came from our beloved mother, and is a woman. Our mother carried us inside her womb for 9 months, even before we we're born we already loved by our mother and father. Our mother will do everything it takes just to keep us alive and kicking, even it means risking their own life in giving us birth. A mother who gives us love unconditionally, no matter how bad we can be. She always cares and supports us in every step we take on our journey and guides to be in the right path. That is woman. We are never easy but we love deep and sincerely cares. No matter how complicated we can be, there's always something in us that you must see in order to internalize our beauty in and out.

Every woman in the world deserves to be loved and respected.

Like an abstract, it hard to understand us sometimes but behind our physical beauty hides a beautiful soul and a huge heart.
