"Ithaqa" Comic Book Update #128 This Page Will Definitely Be A Poster In The Future
Our splash page for issue 2 in all its glory. Perhaps this is the most iconic image in the comic to date, hard to know for sure!
It changed very slightly as you'll notice that Margaret's hand (girl on the left) is pointing more realistically in the top version. The version below wasn't actually a mistake though, I had directed Theresa to emulate the pose from The Magician tarot card as much as possible.
Ultimately I decided that I prefered a more natural hand gesture than an overly obvious one, so here we are!
Please check out some amazing Ithaqa inspired fanart that steemit user @nyarlathotep put together!

It is awesome! As discussed previously, the page contains most of the elements shown in the Tarot card. And as for the magician's pose, although the changed hand is much better, I think the concept is conveyed perfectly by the other girl, arms at the "Above & Below" pose and her flashlight taking the role of the magician's wand.
In this Iss-Nagish related version, there is no infinity symbol, just the symbol of the God of Infinite Realities! I love the fact that there is a chalice and a staff casually thrown on the ground! And where the Tarot card has flowers and vines surrounding the magician, we have debris and infested rats, a fine touch of despair. Amazing!
Definitely it is one of the best pages seen so far, @la-fumettista did an excellent job of put all these elements together.
Love this! It reminds me so much of my very first game of Call of Cthulhu way back in the day! Exploring a burned down cultist church. I love the low perspective as well.
Good eye! This scene was very much inspired by True Detective/ The Haunting Scenario in CoC, is that the one you played?
Yep! A few times over the years as player and keeper.
