Imogen and parallel Universes

My charachter, Hellena has an interesting family. Although she tries her best to fit into the mortal world she has chosen, albeit with not much great success, she has other family who happily dwell in a world with no apologies for their "Gifts".

This is Imogen, Hellena's younger sister. She dwells full tilt in her magical world with no apologies. Imogen, unfortunately, has to contend with a Governess, however, and this does not always suit her.

When I decided to make this two panel of Imogen I wanted to show her change in space/time with color and a varying style of illustration. I hope it was effective.

When Imogen heard her governess, Miss Reed, on the back stairs of the nursery, she knew that Latin conjugations were not far behind.

"Not today," thought she and remembered her lessons on parallel universes and the shift of time space.

What better hiding place then where she stood in a parallel realm.

"This way", she smiled " I can have tea with dolly and still enjoy the frantic searching of Miss Reed." She giggled and all was right with the world.
