🔹 "The gift" Original Story and Art by Andrey Lebed + Parts ▪️ ✅
Hello, steemians! I wanted to share this digital work "The gift" that I made. It took a 1,2 months to create.
The sound of waves breaking against each other filled everything around. The salty wind enveloped the old broken boats at the shore, swaying them from side to side. Stones, randomly scattered along the shore, resembled mushrooms. With their fuzzy and smooth flowing forms, they glittered under the rays of the rising sun, which looked out from under the wavy clouds look like sheeps. It always attracted children. Constantly surrounded by playing with each other, collecting pebbles, they filled the emptiness of the beach not so long ago. Evening came. The sky was filled with bright orange sunset colors.
A lot of playing, and getting hungry, collecting all the most beautiful pebbles, they slowly returned to their parents who stood near. Carried away by collecting stones. Alice was behind . Hearing the voice of their parents standing at the road waiting for her, she ran to their side, and together they went home. The house in which the girl lived was an old, worn-out time, everything in it spoke of his story, where every crack and scratch seemed to want to tell what they saw.
Most of all, Alice liked to revise her pebbles, the color and shape of which fascinated her. One of these pebbles in particular interested the girl ... round, not like all the others, he seemed to shine from the inside. She was so carried away by him, looking at every millimeter of the pattern on it, that she did not notice how she had fallen asleep. When she woke up, she saw that the pebble she was holding changed her pattern. And he was not so angular as he used to be. She walked with a stone all the time, constantly keeping it in her pocket. He became special for her. Once in the autumn night she had a dream, in which she saw a flying creature resembling a dragon that circled above her head and always smiled. This dream lasted a long time, and every time she saw him, noticed that with each new dream, the dragon descended to her lower and lower. Weeks passed. Once again, Alice put a stone near her bed and fell asleep, but when she woke up, realized that she did not have a dream this time... She was staring at this stone, but she saw nothing new in it. A few days later, realizing that it was just a dream, she threw the stone to the rest and closing the box no longer took it.
Ten years later, Alice came from school to her parents and enjoyed the comfort of home. Everything in the house reminded her of her childhood, her friends, about the adventures that had taken place with her. It was a wonderful time. Looking through the old things, she saw her pebbles, which she collected. At the very top lay that very stone. After taking it with him, she climbed out onto the roof where she loved to sit alone. The wind blew her hair back from her forehead. She turned the stone toward the sun and looked through it. Peering into the light-saturated pebble, which seemed to be filled with gold veins inside. Then seemed, that she sprouted wings and flew away into dreams. In the street it grew dark, and Alice returned home, she lay down to sleep, laying a stone beside.
Felt a slight gust of wind, Alice opened her eyes. In her hand was a bright glowing stone. The very one she had been looking at all this time. Raising her head, she saw a dragon circling above her head and gradually descending. "It's the same dream," she thought. The dragon descended from the sky and laying his sword on one of the houses, walked closer to the house where the girl was sitting. Alice realized that this has not happened in her dream earlier, and pinched yourself hand, suggested that too much tired.. The glowing stone was filled with colors inside, and its light shone all around. Paying attention to his sword, the girl realized that the stone is somehow connected with it.
Leaning over the girl, the creature held out to her the huge paw. A curiosity and strange confidence in this creature filled her, and she, without hesitation, grabbing the squama, and rose on his paw. Peering into the big, deep eyes of this creature, Alice felt that this stone seemed to stretch out to him. She raised her little hand, holding a stone, and held it out to him.The stone lying in the girl's hand rose into the air. "He's yours," whispered the girl. The creature looked at the stone and the girl, then slowly took her sword and presented it to the girl, pointing to the empty space in it. Taking the stone in hand, Alice put the stone inside the sword. All around it grew noisy, the leaves rose into the air. All around was filled with light of a sword.
Suddenly there was a knock at the door, accidentally striking the stones lying on the floor, mother woke Alice. Asking Mom what happened, she began to look for a stone around herself, on the table, under the bed. He was not anywhere. In the morning, after she drew a drawing with the creature, she tried to remember everything she saw then.. Climbing the roof of her house, she saw the traces of the claws left behind by her dragon from a dream. Looking at the sunset, she pulled out of her pocket a drawing drawn by her, inhaling the fresh of the sea breeze, she smiled, looking at the drawing, she closed her eyes, and mentally flew away behind the clouds.

Landscape gives me a lot of emotions.
It is paradoxically warm and depressing.

Beautiful. I love the colors in this one and the mood it creates. I'm blown away by the detail when you break the piece up into parts. I also enjoyed your story. Ready to see and hear more 😊
Thank you very much, @sarahsayjay :) If my English skills were better, I would have worked for the text better, as long as I was writing, faced a lot of problems :)
The meaning and emotion of the story come across very well even with the translation. You do a fantastic job!
Thank you very much for your support :)

the work is lovely, but there are a couple of words that we don't really use in English and some places to be improved for flow and meaning.
