Sold their regular size flat to build a fairytale castle. Level: Masterpiece.

          How comes that? you may ask.

          Every healthy-minded people would do that in now time as the matter of fact think one second: Why to build another ordinary home when you can build an extraordinary castle with the same amount of time and energy spend?

                Here are our healthy-minded couple Razvan and Gabriela Vasile sold their home near the capital Bucharest to build the castle in a village 24 miles (40 km) from the city of Sibiu, Romania in a region known as the Valley of the Fairies.

                They began construction in 2014 with the help of architect Ileana Mavrodin. Built brick by brick by workers and craftsmen of Maramures, a region in Northern Transylvania that is known for its crafted old wooden churches. They used very simple materials as clay, straw, wood and sand. For the towers, they choose river stone which is plentiful in the area.

                 Mr. and Mrs. Vasile just want a different home when both moved from the city of Bucharest two years ago to realize their country-living style. But the place they called home was so different that day by day more and more people come to see "the man who builds its own castle".

                Now they plan to open it as a hotel with an organic restaurant where natural traditional food from locals will be served. While still not open to guests yet, tourists are already there to see it from the outside, taking pictures, taking a picnic along the river behind the castle, one couple even hosted their wedding reception there.

               The Clay Castle is structured on two levels, ground floor and attic with 10 unconventional rooms that looking like "something out of the Hobbit", with 6 doubles and 4 apartments, all different style and each room having its own separate entrance. All the rooms will be kept warm in the winter months with traditional wood-burning fires.

              The unique construction, with the river behind the castle, make it the perfect fairytale place that it will be worth visit it.
