Duck Sketch On a Rock - Original Art #004
Hi how are you guys today? Meet me again in the Original Art article #004. On this occasion I will draw a sketch of a duck which is on a rock. Not only showing the results of the sketch I made, but I will also share how I made the sketch.
It's easy to imagine a duck standing on a rock, then with that idea and imagination I want to make it in sketch form.
Tools and materials :
For the tools and materials that I use in sketching ducks on rocks, it is very easy for you to find in stores near where you live.
- Paper
- Pencil
- Pen
- Eraser
- Colored pencils
How do I make it?
I think it would be really cool if I draw a duck sketch from the side. Then I started by drawing the eyelids and also the head of the duck.
Followed by drawing a duck's mouth. Here I draw the duck's mouth with my mouth open, as if he is smiling... hehe.
Then draw the body up to the tail. You also surely know that the shape of a duck's body is almost the same as the shape of a bird's body, it's just that it's bigger.
Then I draw duck wings. As for duck wings, it can't be used for flying, it would be cool if I change the wing's name to duck's hand.
Followed by drawing duck feet. As you can see, duck feet have membranes. And it really helped him to balance himself on the surface of the water.
Then I also draw a stone under a duck's foot like the theme of a duck on a rock.
The next thing I did was to give the duck eye and duck eyebrows a black color and orange on the duck's mouth.
Then give the orange color on the duck feet and also black on the sidelines of the duck wings and stones under the duck feet.
I think it will be more visible by making the lines on the sketch thicker using a pen.
After making the lines more visible, then I add color to make it thicker on the duck sketch on the stone.
And that's how I draw a duck sketch on a rock, for the results you can see for yourself in the pictures above. What do you think? Please provide your comments below and see you later.
