Just fluttering around
I've recently taken up embroidery, and actually quite like it. I'm always interested in new arts and crafts and this sounded like something I could do in my free time, without a big investment or making a mess. So here is my very first completed pattern! I downloaded the pattern for free and then traced it onto my fabric and just started stitching. I learned a lot and I'd say for me the biggest lesson was to not be afraid of pulling out some thread, backing up and starting a section over. If I was ever feeling lazy I wouldn't work on it, because screwing up a few stitches would have ultimately screwed up the whole thing. ... What do you think? What should I stitch next? Actually I'm already working on a sea turtle, so after that...
Nice work!
