Photograph of the compostion still-life from which the sketch was drawn.

Thank you Steemians for your interest.

For those interested in details.......

This watercolour painting is the end result of the previously presented pear studies and a still-life set up for the purpose of composing a finished work.

A sketch was made and then photographed for the purpose of using digital tools to determine in advance of painting the various tones and placement of darks.

When photographing a watercolour painting, it is natural light that seems to give the best light.

Kind Regards, bleujay.

Always natural light does best it seems!

I love it when I see the painting and the digital art pictures. In this case I much prefer the watercolour even though the digital art one comes a close second.

Top notch!

I was in the wrong place looking for an update lol!

Edit...I hope you do not mind if I copied the comment section of your latest post for the sake of discussion in the comment section of bleujay's latest post.

Thank you for dropping by @meesterboom.

I am happy to hear you enjoyed the work and that the watercolour won the day. ^__^

Watercolour paintings really look loads better when they are framed and glassed over...which puts the water back in the watercolour.

Apologies for complicating things with the two accounts.....what was I thinking? ^__^

All the best.

Cheers.

Oh no, I do not mind at all. In fact feel free to copy anything, particularly if it helps to first some discussion!

I too enjoy the watercolor best. I love the colors you choose - this one looks soft and cool, like a summer's day. The original is warm and dark and stately.

Yes....indeed it is. Perhaps you know a little something about that....with your delicious food posts.

Your latest post gave me a good laugh.....it is an issue that has Steemians talking...@meesterboom's latest post and comment section were all a buzz.

A garden is no good if there are not those unafraid to pull the weeds.....and weeds is what we are talking about here. ^__^

Wishing you and yours all the best.

Cheers.

I will have to check out @meesterboom 's post, and you are correct we need to deal with the weeds or they will take over the garden.

Wow. Look at that color choice. Amazing... could not have been done any better. Congratulations on a true work of art. Blessings
