People are people - Line Art illustration Series Part.01

For years, I’ve been capturing people with my camera — strangers, friends, sometimes both. Now, I’m revisiting those moments through ink, digital lines, and a little bit of coffee and tea

Each piece starts with hand-drawn line art on paper, then gets colored digitally using my own scanned background textures made from stained paper — a fusion of analog and digital, much like the people in these portraits

These are faces I’ve met on the street, at shows, in my travels — some became long-time friends
This series is about them, about connection, and about how art lets us re-see the people we think we know
