Wall mural in my workspace

Artists tend to keep their milieu artsy and so do I.
I asked my Dad to build a small studio for myself when our house was under construction. And he agreed, now I have a little space for myself and my art stuff back at home.

Being a sucker for art supplies and quirky merch. The room is all covered with the quirks I picked up from various places. And a lot of my paintings hung on the wall and action figures and figurines to sit on the table.

There was one huge white wall which looked deadpan and that triggered an idea of making a personalized mural on the wall.

As a kid, I haven't been so good with brush and paints. My tools were always pencils and markers and then stylus after growing up. I pretty much sucked at traditional painting and thought I could give a shot.

Got home some paints, got all that fancy brushes, dug for rugged clothe, played some hard rock in the background and decided to begin.
And then did I realize I didn't have a plan of what I'm gonna draw.

I went with the flow of thoughts which came absolutely arbitrary and set my first stroke.

"Rocket queen" from Slash was playing on the background and the painting started to turn it's way to look like SLASH.

Also "CARPE DIEM" is one of the things which I pretty much follow in my lifestyle and that was gonna go in there as well.

It means to make the most of the present time and think a lot less about the future.

Gradually, the mural started to shape itself and looked something like this.

And then the colors started getting in there..

AND then the final product looked like this.

Now my workspace looks complete and as weird as it could get! People ask for the inspiration behind the painting and the answer remains "It's just abstract" !
