Painting in Thailand #2 🇹🇭

🇺🇸I already wanted to paint with watercolor the blue of the sea and the great moment arrived in Thailand. New brushstrokes for two essential destinations in a trip through Southeast Asia: Thailand and Malaysia. I spent a little more than a month in this wonderful area and I tried to leave it reflected in my paintings.

It's hard to say anything about Thailand that is not known. It is one of the most popular destinations for all Europeans and could not miss in my itinerary. I fell in love with the northern part of the country, with Chiang Mai and the impressive Sukhothai, I was overwhelmed by the chaotic Bangkok and I had a bittersweet taste of my passage through the paradise of Phi Phi.

Right after crossing the border with Malaysia to reach George Town, an Asian Havana with a special charm and a fascinating cultural mix. The color palette turned bright green in the Cameron Highlands tea plantations and I had to stretch the notebook for the Petronas towers of Kuala Lumpur to enter. 🇪🇸 Ya tenía ganas de pintar con acuarela el azul del mar y el gran momento llegó en Tailandia. Nuevas pinceladas para dos destinos imprescindibles en un viaje por el Sudeste Asiático: Tailandia y Malasia. Pasé algo más de un mes por esta zona maravillosa y trate de dejarlo plasmado en mis pinturas.

Cuesta decir algo de Tailandia que no se sepa. Es uno de los destinos más populares para todos los europeos y no podía faltar en mi itinerario. Me enamoré de la zona norte del país, con Chiang Mai y la impresionante Sukhothai, salí abrumada de la caótica Bangkok y me quedó un sabor agridulce de mi paso por el paraíso de Phi Phi.

Justo después cruce la frontera con Malasia hasta llegar a George Town, una Habana asiática con un encanto especial y una mezcla cultural de lo más fascinante. La paleta de colores se volvió de un verde intenso en las plantaciones de té de Cameron Highlands y tuve que estirar el cuaderno para que entrasen las torres Petronas de Kuala Lumpur.
