Point number 4. An all voluntary army. Service by choice, not by force. Citizens of some nation states are not able to make that claim.
Selective Service and the Draft are words that have been commonly used in past years in the USA.
As you have pointed out, the peoples of the nation of India admire and have respect for the armed forces. And in particular, the Indian Army it seems.
