Shortlist highlights of the 2017 INSIDE: World Festival of Interiors
Mathematics: The Winton Gallery in London by Zaha Hadid Architects, shortlisted in the Civic, Culture & Transport category.
It's already time for the next INSIDE: World Festival of Interiors competition! As the sister event to the anticipated 2017 World Architecture Festival, the INSIDE competition scopes out the best of the best projects in the global interior design scene. Year after year, the competition continues to grow. For the first time, the call for submissions exceeded 200. Most recently, an international shortlist of 78 projects across nine categories was announced.
When the World Architecture Festival comes around this November in Berlin, all the nominated designers will get to present in front of distinguished international juries (plus a live audience) to compete for one of the nine coveted INSIDE category awards. From there, only one project will be crowned World Interior of the Year 2017.
Here's a taste of this year's nominees:
The Whale Bar at Vommuli Island resort Maldives by WOW Architects, shortlisted in the Bars & Restaurants category.
Nimman Spa in Shanghai by Maos Design, shortlisted in the Hotels category.
Big Small Coffee and Guestroom in Beijing by Office AIO, shortlisted in the Bars & Restaurants category.
Adidas NYC by Adidas with Checkland Kindleysides and Gensler, shortlisted in the Retail category.
