BrainTraining: ELEVATE - Back to 30 Day Streak!

Greetings, brain training travelers!

You may know by now, if you have been following my posts, that I am a really big fan of gaming and puzzle solving. So naturally, when these brain training apps got popular some ten years ago or so, I got hooked really fast. There are other apps that maybe I can get into in another post, and there's also BrainTraining games on LinkedIn since last year, but I wanted to share my experience back on the Elevate app, which I've been using daily again since the New Year's Eve.

From the apps I've tried since last year, I can confidently say that Elevate is among the best of the genre nowadays, not only for keeping your brain "agility" fresh through engaging games, training my Problem Solving Skills, Mathematics and Memory, but it has also been really amazing in "fine-tuning" my English.

There are five categories of games in the app:
Writing, Speaking, Reading, Math and Memory.

Maybe for a native speaker it'll not have as much value, but as a non-English speaker, the games in the first three categories have been really useful on "fine-tuning" my practices with the English language, specially now that I've been preparing for coding and math assessments that are entirely on English. And, well, I hope the results also aid in improving my writing in these posts!

The gamification aspect of the app is great, and it really fuels the users into wanting to improve and compare with others, at first. However, the improvements are really gradual within the platform, so if you want to see the ratings going up, you'll have to develop a training routine.

There's also an affordable Premium version, at around U$12 per year, or around U$3 in the monthly plan. I've used it for a while and really do recommend it, specially the Daily Crossword Puzzles, if you're into it.
