... do his walks and enjoy his food. He still falls over from time to time and has some trouble getting up but that’s it. I guess hip problems at 13 years old is fairly normal. Glad to see him happy and back to his old self again enjoying every day.

Yes it's fairly normal.
That's great! It is always sad when they are hurting and they can't tell you what is wrong. @mrsbozz and I are looking at doing something for our dog because of her anxiety. I have considered CBD oil, but we haven't decided on anything yet. Ninety percent of the time she is fine, but there are times we need her to be more calm and she just can't help it.
I used cbd oil myself but have not given it to him yet. He's seems very happy on whatever he's on right now.
That is great. I just worry about what the anxiety does to our dogs health. It would be nice to have something to help her relax.
